DATES FOR NEW ORLEANS Three Meetings to Be Held Be- ginning Thanksgiving Day and Ending on March 17. NEW YORK, N. T., Oct 2. John Dymond, president of the New Orleans Business Mens Racing Association with Joseph A. Murphy, general manager of the Fair Grounds, were visitors at Jamaica. Both are enthusiastic over the racing prospects at New Orleans and will shortly begin the active work of making ready for the winter season. The racing at the Fair Grounds will begin January 1 and continue until February 25. This meeting will be preceded by the meeting at Jefferson Park to begin Thanksgiving day and continue until December 31. Then following the Fair Grounds, there will be a second meeting at Jefferson Park to continue until March 17. It was also announced that John Carey, would succeed John Campbell as clerk of the scales at the Fair Grounds, Campbell having accepted an engagement at Miami.
