LAUREL PARK NOTES LAUREL, Md., Oct. 10. R. Pending claimed Fancy Free from G. W. Campbell for ,400. G. W. Campbell claimed Odd Seth from. C. B. Shafer for ,000. C. Fairbrother will come from New York tomorrow to ride Single Foot in the National. D. Randall patched up his differences with J. W. Healey, Jr., and resumed riding. He had been posted for deserting the employ of Healey. The Southern Maryland Breeders and Agricultural Association invited James Miltcn to do the starting at Bowie this fall. Mr. Milton accepted. H. G. Bedwell reported the death of the two-year-old filly Golden Poppy. She was by Cudgel Golden Wedding, and highly regarded by Bedwell.
