LEAVE FOR WEST MONDAY LATONIA, Ky., Oct 18. The stables of J. "W. Marchbank and C. A. Hartwell, California turfmen, will not be campaigned at Churchill Downs. Instead they will depart from here Monday for Tijuana, where the horses will be rested up for the long, winter meeting at that place. Cannon Shot and Bear Shot, which Lou Jones has been training for Mr. Hartwell, will go to the coast in the care of L. E. Moore. Trainer Bert John will have charge of Mr. Marchbanks string, and he will also take George Ellis, Mr. Marchbanks jockey, to his home in Twin Fallst Idaho, where the boy will probably have to remain until the first of the New Year. Ellis broke his right foot in a race during the early part of the Latonia meeting and the injured member is still encased in a plaster cast
