TO RIDE AS FREE LANCE NEW YORK, X. Y., Dec. 10. Steeplechase jockey B. Haynes lias severed his connection with the Greentree Stable of Mrs. Payne Whitney, in charge of trainer Vincent Powers, and will ride as a free lance next year. Jockey Everett Haynes, who rode Epinard in his International races here and who is under contract to Pierre Wertheimer, will leave for France next month. Haynes is visiting his people at Jamaica for the Christmas holidays. ;
