j j i ! LATEST TURF GOSSIP ? FROM NEW ORLEANS . XEW ORLEAXS, La., Dec. 12. The Jefferson Park condition book was distributed among the horsemen Friday. AV. J. Huff and W. C. Troner, with their stables, arrived Thursday from Phoenix, Ariz. William Stevens, W. C. Troner, E. L. Syn-der. Thomas W. Gordon, J. C. Studebaker and C. W. Hall have all been granted licenses to train at Jefferson Park. George Swain has been engaged to make the riding engagements for jockey V. Swan- son. Jockeys K. Hoffman and M. Liebgold were each suspended for three days by the starter for post disobedience. The protest mads by Mrs. G. W. Church againf t the claiming of Uncle J. on the ground of irregularity -was not: allowed.
