Won driving; second and third the same. STAR COURT at once drew away into a long lead and set a good pace, but was tiring at the end and had to be ridden hard to outstay COLOSSUS. The latter was cut off when he attempted to go through on the inside on the far turn, then was taken to the outside and finished fast. FULL MOON ran well. Won easily; second and third driving. AWNING took the lead at once, but stumbled and almost fell, then recovered quickly and, drawing away, held the race safe throughout. MILL GATE saved ground on all the turns, but was at no time able to overhaul the leader. ST. KEVIN ran well and outfinished CHANDELIER in the final drive. NIG closed a big gap.
