CHICAGO OWNED STABLES Horses of H. G. Shimp and G. Cudahy to Race at Hawthorne Meeting. What is expected to be one of the most powerful and at the same tim.3 most expensive stables that will campaign at Hawthorne this year, is the International Stable, a Chicago-owned establishment, the property of Herbert G. Shimp, well-known insurance broker. A division of Mr. Slumps horses is now quartered at Douglas Park in Louisville and the others are still at Tijuana and the string will be combined at the time the Hawthorne meeting opens. The International Stable, through trainer Georgj Walker, has made stable reservations for twenty-seven horses, headed by their Kentucky and Chicago Derby eligible Mark Master, the good handicap horses Little Celt, Postillion and Better Luck and a number of good two-year-olds. The complete list of horses the International expects to race at Chicago follows : Little Celt, Better Luck, Mark Master, Postillion, Clarence, Rival, John S. Rear-don, Sagamook, Panola, Omnia, Epsomite, Post Mistress, Marvelite. Aristotle, Torek, Dutch Girl, George E. Allen, Francis Victoria, Up and At Em, Lady Allen, Spanish Lay, Delphi, Adonia, Golden Mac, Pallah, Mantonian and Martial Wand. In the same mail that brought the names of the International horses came a reservation from still another Chicago stable, it being from Gerald Cudahy, who entered into the thoroughbred sport in a rather extensive way last year. He made reservation for eight horses. Cup Bearer, My Dream, Glide, Spats, Pacier, Pigeon Wing, Burkes Boy and Vivandierre. Cup Bearer is eligible to both the Kentucky and Chicago Derbys and is training in a satisfactory manner, according to Mr. Cudahy. •
