I HUNTINGTON TURF NOTES I HUNTINGTON, W. Va., April 8. Jockey H. Burke leaves tonight for Lexington, Ky. B. A. Jones has refused an offer of 115,000 for the two-year-old Captain Seth, one of his own breeding and by his sire Seth. Thomas Cromwell of the Thoroughbred Horsemens Association was an arrival today from Lexington. Seths Dream was withdrawn from the second event today after pulling up very sore following a light gallop this morning. S. S. Bender, associate judge and racing secretary, was an absentee from the stand this afternoon due to illness. Red Seth was lame today following cuts suffered in his race here yesterday and was withdrawn from the fifth today. Martha Roos raced for the first time today in the colors of J. Randolph, having been purchased at private sale from the Jones Stock Farm. Gene Dutz will ship part of his string to Beulah lark, Columbus, Ohio, at the close of this meeting and the other half, comprising nine head to Akron, Ohio.
