Won easily: second and third driving. WHITE MARSH steadily improved his position while under slight restraint and, saving ground when entering the stretch, raced into the lead and won going away. VOLCANO followed the early leaders under ltstraint, but tired when called on and was hard ridden to outfinish TIMELESS. The latter rushed into the lead quickly and. setting a good pace, tired in the stretch, but finished gamely. STAHBR1GHT raced well. FRENCH LADY showed early speed and quit. POEDIE was cased up. The latter forced her way through on the inside in the early racing and took the lead when entering the stretch, but was unable to withstand th? winners challenge. CYMKHANA was a forward contender throughout and finished well. _ ENSIGN showed early speed. ALEX WOODLIFFE was in los • quarters for the entire race. VILLAGER closed a gap. BOTHER could never get up. CKNTR1FUG AL raced in nearest pursuit of the leader all the way and finished gamely, but fired in the stretch drive. GOLDEN HAZE saved ground on the turns and ran a good race. Won driving; second and third the same. DREAM OF THE VALLEY began slowly, but gradually improved bis position on the inside and. under hard riding, got up to win in the last stride. MACLEAN, prominent throughout, finished gamely through the stretch and would have won with a stronger rider. LEATHERWOOD took the lead in the stretch and finished gamely but tiring. CARLTON worked his way through from a slow beginning and ran a creditable race. WARNING raced well. EXALTED KII.KU began forwardly and showed much speed for a half mile then tired. NEW BEAUTY showed the most early Fpeed, but quit. MONDAY MORNING was weakly ridden. DOUBLE ENTENDRE began slowly. Scratched— 88789Sea Sand, 108; 887S8IDoetor Glenn, 106. fififift1? JULIA M., suddenly improved, and under slight restraint for the first half mile, raced into the lead when called on and. finishing gamely, maintained her advantage to the end. DUSK saved ground on all the turns and made a game finish through the last quarter, but was weakly ridden in the final drive. VITAMIN closed up steadily through the stretch. TOODLES. badly kicked while at the post, began slowly and was far back in the early racing, but closed a big gap in the last half mile, and would have been third in another stride. WESTWOOD pulled up sore after going three-quarters. ADVOCATE ran out on most of the turns.
