ALL IN ALL ran well in the going and, after racing close up to the stretch, cainc with a rush on the outside and. passing OTAI. was going away at the end. OTAI showed high speed in paoemaking from the start and saved ground on the turns, but gave way wh-n challenged. LORD BACON ran a good race from the start. CtE-RACK finished well. CATHARINE YON UTTER began slowly and closed up much ground. WINNING BIRD quit after going a good half mile. Won easily: second and third driving. GOLD BUTTON followed CHIEF UNCAS closely to the stretch, then rushed into the lead when called on and was going away at the end. CHIEF UNCAS showed high speed in paoemaking from the start, but tired badly and was worked out to a mile. CORONATION was green, but raced well all the way. JIBE quit badly after going well for five-eighths. BRUNS was always outpaced. EMISSARY showed high speed in paoeiiiakiiig from the start and saved ground on the turns, but tired badly when challenged. WALTER E. was away well and raced gamely throughout. FADDIST closed a gap and finished fast on the inside. HOOT MON began slowly and closed a big gap. BROWN BETTY also began slowly, but could not improve her position. NOON FIRE raced in closest pursuit of the winner and made a game challenge after entering the stretch, but was held safe. PATROON ran a good race all the way. ALCHEMY finished well. BKI.CKOSS was saved under restraint and made a game rush after entering the stretch, but tired near the end. ASA JEWELL was knocked back shortly after the start, and forced to be taken up, then worked his way up and finished fast. OCORRA showed the most early speed, but tired badly.
