JAMAICA TURF NOTES NEW YORK, N. Y., May 11. Young April was transferred from the Ll-lane Stable to J. A. Coburn after the first race on the latters claim of ,000. Jockey Mark Fator was about the paddock this ifternoon with his shoulder tied up. All entries including stakes to be run at Belmont Park, the opening day close at the, secretarys office, Jamaica, on May 21. E. J. Tranter has been commissioned by several New York sportsmen to attend the Belmont dispersal sale at Lexington on Friday. Tom Moran arrived at Belmont Park with the Hopeful Stable from Pimlico. Max Hirsch arrived with Young Martin and the Fair Stables champion Sarazen. The W. J. Salmon stable and R. T. Wilson stable, which were raced at Pimlico in charge of trainer T. J. Healey, unloaded at Belmont Park in good condition. The three-year-old Swinging arrived from the Harry Payne Whitney farm at Red Bank, N. J., and was turned over to the division which trainer Fred Hopkins has here. P. J. Lavin claimed Kit Carson from the Shoshone Stable in the first race. The transfer price was ,000. Upton, the two-year-old, which fell last wek and injured jockey B. Marinelli, Is badly injured according to trainer H C. Riddle. Jimmy Jones, one of the promising r.ders at Miami last winter, has joined the local colony.
