LOUISVILLE PLAYS HOST Fully Prepared to Take Care of Large Crowd Expected for the Derby. LOUISVILLE, Ky.. May 11.— With all indications pointing to a record attendance, when Americas greatest three-year-olds meet in the fifty-first Kentucky Derby, at Churchill Downs, on May 16, Louisville now is busily making arrangements to accommodate the visiting thousands. Hotel space, of course, will be exhausted, but the Louisville Convention and Publicity League, with the co-operation of the Kentucky Jockey Club, will take care of the situation. A free service room bureau will be maintained at the Headquarters of the Convention and Publicity League, f 10 Republic Building, to which visitors will be directed by taxi-cab men, hotels, information stands and policemen. This bureau has listed thousands of rooms in desireable localities, after the owner of the room has contracted to charge the prospective guest no more than a stipulated fair figure. No rooms have been listed where the owner has not agreed to the bureaus price and those in charge assert that there will be no profiteering, if visitors accept the free service of the bureau.
