• MACOMBER, ONEILL PART j American Owner and Rider Sever Relations in France — Surprise in European Racing Circles. LONDON. England. May 19.— European 1 racing circles today were surprised to learn j that H. K. Macomber, the American turf-I man, and his jockey, Frank ONeill, have parted. They will sever their connections tomorrow after ONeill rides Mr. Macombers Masked Marvel in the Prix Parlet at Le i Tremblay. No reasons have been announced , for the break between the two. "We are parting amicably and with a mutual understanding." says ONeill. "I have always received every consideration from Mr. Macomber." ONeill occupies a unique position on the French turf. He is a crack rider and is a credit to his profession. Thus far this year he has had forty-nine mounts and has won twelve races. He scored a double on May 7. at I.ongchamps, riding one horse for his contract employer and the other for Mr. Widener. Last Sunday ONeill finished third on Mr. Macombers Ilrumaire in the Prix Acacias and second on Mr. I Wideners Pervencheres. • .
