1 CHURCHILL DOWNS Latest Turf Notes From Famous Kentucky Track LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 21. Jockey R. Williams will probably go to Maple Heights to ride Kentucky Cardinal in the Ohio State Derby. Thomas A. Gray, acting for racing secretary Martin Nathanson. distributed stake blanks this morning to the horsemen for the inaugural meeting to be held at Coney Island, near Cincinnati. J. C. Milam was advised that Anna M. Humphrey foaled .a chestnut colt, sired by Friar Rock. The mare will be bred to Brown Prince IL Glenister II. and Elsass will not be shipped to Maple Heights to start in the 0,000 Derby there as intended. Hal Price Headleys Almadel, In charge of jockey Walter Taylor, was shippeil to Mapl# Heights today. Taylor will ride the colt. William Hamilton displaced William Snyder as starter today.
