A. R. BLANCHARD AT AURORA ACROUA, III., May 21.— Arthur R. Blanch-ard was the first of the staff of racing offi- J cials to arrive at Aurora, 111., to take up his duties as clerk of the scales and associate placing judge. Mr. Blanehard arrived from New Orleans, La., and is assigning the owners the stables allotted them upon the arrival of their horses at the course. There are 1 more than 200 racers quartered on the grounds and it is expected that 750 thoroughbreds will be comfortably stabled when the gates are thrown open for the twenty-one I day meeting.
