CROSS VILLAGE rushed Into the lead at once, but gave way when challenged by the winner. MI I. BOON raced prominently all the way and outstayed LADY HOIIILESS. The latter ran an excellent race and took the lead in the stretch, but tired slightly near the end. SPORTY McGEE was kept far back early and ridden wide on the turns, but finished fast. MARTHA MARTIN set a great pace to the stretch and tired. LATHROP licgan poorly and raced into prominence in the first half, but quit badly in the stretch.
