■ e WOODBINE TURF NOTES TORONTO. Ont.. May 25. In all races for horses foaled in Canada, 5 per cent of the first money will be paid to the Canadian Racing Association for the account of the breeder of the winner as of record with that office. On opening and closing days the running of each race will be broadcast by radio direct from the track. On other days only the feature race will be put on the air. Johnny Thorpe, who has been with the Seagram Stable for a decade as head of the exercise boys, will ride this summer. Thorpe can do 110 pounds without any trouble. Polly Pemberton. on a pony, led the parade of horses before the stand and to the post in each race. He will occupy the same post 9t Thorncliffe. Pete Walls. W. Ruck and K. Woods, who figured in the fall in the third race, were unhurt. Woods had a slight scratch on hU face. A report was circulated that Pete Walla had been killed as a result of his fall in the third race, but it was denied. He lost a couple of teeth and suffered a cut lip, and that was the total extent of his injuries. J. I!. Campbell received, this morning, the antral ■ of Baraaaai and King Solomons Seal for the Frontier Handicap to be run at the Windsor Jockey Club meeting.
