DADE PARK STAKE ARRAY ,000 Derby and Four Other Features Are Announced — No Purse Less Than 00. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 25.— Jtillus G. Reeder, manager of the Dade Park race track, made public the list of stakes to be decided at the meeting, after his return from Evansville. where he had gone Sunday to confer with the clubs directors regarding plans for the season at Dade Park, which | will follow the Raceland meeting. Five stakes have been decided upon, In-! eluding the Dade Park Derby which will I have an endowment of ,000. The Derby will be at one mile and an eighth and nominations to it will close August 17. The date for its running has been set for August 29. It is expected that all of the good three-year-I olds in the West will be named for this 1 event, which will be an annual fixture. The complete stakes to be run at the meeting are : Dade Park Derby, ,000 added, three-year-olds, one and one-eighth miles, August 15. Henderson Handicap, ,000 added, three-! year-olds and over, three-quarters mile, August 15. Evansville Handicap, ,000 added, thrce-I year-olds and over, one mile, August 22. Kentucky-Indiana Handicap, ,000 added, i two-year-olds, five and one-half furlongs, j September 5. I.abor Day Handicap, ,000, three-year- ■ olds and over, one mile and one-sixteenth, September 7. Mr. J. C. Ellis, the moving spirit in the Dade Park enterprise, announced through I Mr. Reeder that each day of the meeting a ,000 handicap would be carded, and that no purse would be less than . In order ! to facilitate the transportation of the horses ■ from Laceland to Dade Park, Mr. Reeder has ! been authorized to charter the steamers Cincinnati and Jueen City. Mr. Reeder stated that many notable improvements have been made at Dade Park and the plant is in prime condition to start the meeting. The stables are ready to receive the horses. .
