Civill for the purchase of Pretension with the idea of sending him east t.i campaign with Bad News. James B. Haggin. the largest breeder of thoroughbreds in the world, will send only a small part of his production of yearlings to the eastern market this year. Other breeders are gratified over this action on the part of the master of Elmendorf, as it indicates that the market wiS not be flooded this year. Mr. Haggin stated that he would offer less than 300 in Jur-a as against 900 last year.
