w RULINGS AT CLEVELAND CLEVELAND. Ohio, May 30— The following rulings were issued by the stewards of sued by the stewards of etainshrdlupetaoinup the Ohio State Racing Commission, incorpo-rated tcday : Under authority invested in the stewards by rule 203 of the rules of the Ohio State Raping Commission, the license of jockey E. Demayo has been withdrawn and he has been denied all privileges, including admission to the grounds, of the tracks under the jurisdiction of the commission. For violation of rule 163. owner J. Stone Ware has been fined 50. The horse Weary Dick has been disqualified for racing for a period of sixty days. Ware claimed the hors* at Columbus, but, instead of taking possession of the horse, sold it back to his former owner", dating the bill of sale ahead to evade the claiming rule. The stewards take this occasion to warn all owners that in the future any violation of this rule will result in expulsion of the offender. A supplementary ruling has been made In the case of the horse Hercules which is at present disqualified from racing. J. H. Rar-ton, who attached the horse at Columbus, has been ruled off the turf for violation of rule 1GG of the rules of racing. For three years Rarton allowed innocent parties to ostensibly own and enter the horse in claiming races. It changed hands three times under this process when Barton who claimed ownership back to 1921 attached the horse and It is now in the hands of the sheriff at Columbus. Rarton has been compelled to give bond of ,400 on the horse and the racing commission has employed attorneys to fight the case. If Bartons claim of ownership is disallowed a civil suit will be brought against him by the present owner of Hercules.
