Mr. Brown a;d: "There is no denying that the little horse is pretty badly wind broken. He was very sick at Memphis in the spring and he makes a perfectly audible noise after workin- or racing swiftly for three quarters of a n ile or a mile. Yesterday Danny Maher rode Ixird Rose-ben-ys Cicero to victory in the English D.rby. the one hundred and twenty sixth renewal. Nine horses started and Cicero was the favorite. Edmund Blancs Jardy was second and Chevalier Ginistrelhs Signonno was third. It was the third ictory for Lord Roseberry. In 1894 Ladas won for him and the following year he captured the coveted stakes with Sir Visto. It was likewise the second victory for Maher. he having ridden Rock Sand for Sir J. Miller in 1903.
