WOODBINE TURF NOTES TORONTO. Ont. May 30. Alvin Rule, employed as a stable hand by Ed Cla«sco. Windsor horseman, ended his life yesterday by swallowing carbolic acid. Rule was found lying in the open field at the Windsor Jockey Club track. He was hurried to the Hotel Dieti Hospital, but died shortly after being admitted. The Seagram Stable will be shipped to Ottawa tomorrow night and at the conclusion of that meeting will be sent to Rlue Bonnets. Kbb Tide will be on the shelf for a time. She came out of her race yesterday with a hole on the point of one of her shoulders where she was kicked by Old Crow. Lieutenant II. and Rejection, the property of R. H. Potts, were injured while being transferred in a van from the Woodbine track to Thorncliffe. The van tipped over and the horses were shaken up and bruised. Rutton Bright was taken out of the seventh race yesterday via the claiming route by J. M. Collins for ,200. In the Inst race Friday, after kicking Ebb Tide twice. Old Crow, the winner of the rare, was moved out near the fence and immediately repeated the performance on Joaquina, broke the stifle of Paul Clceris mare and she may never go to the post again.
