NO FLORIDA LEGISLATION MIAMI. Fla.. June 8.— At midnight Friday night the Florida General Assmbly adjourned for a period of two years without having passed any legislation affecting the interests of the Miami Jockey Club. Several bills were introduced dealing with betting and racing, none of which passed. The announcement is made by President J. M. Smoot that the club will immediately proceed with its plans for improvements for the racing season of 1926. The plans include the approximate doubling of the capacity of the plant, with more facilities for stabling a greater number of horses, which are expected as a result of the demand for the accommodation from some of the largest owners of the thoroughbreds.
