LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS L. Schaefer made a strong bid for first place on the jockey list by riding twelve winners last week. He is now third with eighty-eight winners, while W. Harvey with 91 and C. E. Allen with 89 hold a slight advantage, first and second respectively. H. Elston did well last week with seven winners, as did J. McTague and A. McDonald each with six.
