Captain Hal and Boon Companion Among iood Horses Included in the Nominations. COLLINSYILLK. 111.. April ."..-Included in the list of 151 entries for the Collinsville Handicap, announced today by C. Bruce Head, general manager of the Fairmount Jockey Club, are many of the sensational sprinters of the American turf. This event, named in honor of the progressive little city near which the beautiful Fairmount Park is situated, is the second of the six stake events of the spring meeting for which the entries have been announced. The Collinsville Handicap, at three-quarters, will carry an added money value of Jo. 000. Some of the outstanding horses in this event include King Nadi, Boon Companion. Senator Norris, Gay Count. Alborak. Braedalbane. Arcady, Long Point. T. S. Jordan, Nocturnal. Tangara. Ali Baba, Capain Hal, Little Visitor, Serenader, Bigheart, Osprey, Take a Chance and Lounger. As in the Fairmount Derby the most prominent stables are represented. CI. Frank Crois-i sant of Chicago has named seven, including Royerofter. which ran second to Carlaris in the Coffroth Handicap. Keeneland Stud has named four, including their Derby candidate, Champ de Mars. Willis Sharpe Kilmer, the eastern sportsman, has named Sunsard. J. C. MeGill has nominated six. including the good Bate and Span and Russell Gardner. J. N. Camden has named four, including Massillon and Uothermel. J. B. Ilespess is represented by four, including Traymore and his Derby candidate. Great Sport. II. P. Whitney is represented with four, of which Dedans and Courageous are the best known. Local interest centers about the horses named by horsemen who raced at Fairmount Parks inaugural meeting last fall. Mrs. G. EL Abbott has named The World; B. Gentry is represented by three, of which Bradleys Toney is best known. The Kentucky stable of Harned Bros., who topped the list of money won at last falls meeting, have named two, including Gliding Fox. Ben A. Jones, from his Nodaway Count. Mo., farm, has entered Major Seth and Dolly Seth. C. C. Wright of McLeansboro, 111., has named Ocean Current. T. J. Pendergast of Kansas City nominated Nettie Sweep. August A. Busch. Jr.. St. Louis horse lover, has named Chief Incas and Lady Busch. W. K. Har- rington, from his Florissant Stable, has ! named Lathrop.
