PRESENTS THE DERBY CUP CUPLOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE Kyf May 17 Mayor Walker of New York in presenting the Derby Cup to E R Bradley said Both as chief magistrate of the great city of New York and personally I want to say what a proud privilege has been conferred upon me today It is a great distinction to be here and I want to say to you Mr Bradley that my congratulations to you are echoed by the hundred thousand people present here today and by twenty millions of people who have an interest in this great sporting event My congratulations come from every person who loves a horse You have done wonderful things for American sport and I want to say that we humans can learn much from the thoroughbred to always try and never offer an alibi
