WOODBINE STABLES FILLED Horses of J K L Boss Seagram SeagramStable Stable and Others Beach BeachToronto Toronto From Pimlico TORONTO Ont May 18 With the arri ¬ val from Pimlico of the horses of J 1C L Ross the Seagram Stable and others that will take in the Ontario Jockey Club meet ¬ ing which begins Saturday the stables at Woodbine are practically filled filledWork Work on the new block of stables at the west end of the course is being hurried along and the stalls will be ready for occupation by the middle of this week Even with this additional accommodation there will not be enough room for all the thoroughbreds com ¬ ing here to participate in the meeting and it will be necessary to take care of a number of the stables at the Thorncliffe course A special van service at the clubs expense will be utilized daily for the pur ¬ pose of transporting horses entered each day at the Woodbine WoodbineThe The first arrivals from Pimlico were the Winburn Stable with five jumpers and W Booth whose shipment included the jump ¬ ers Upsal and Golden Cup and four two yearolds These stables shipped together from the Maryland course and all horses are in good shape The Winburn Stables five are Herriard Oyster Bed Dragon de Vertu Sand Rock and Commodore Ingraham in charge of Fred Priest who also does the riding for this stable stableSchooling Schooling through the field commenced Saturday morning and among the first over the jumps were Cavendish Jane II Hels delite Black Fox Upsal and Ammunition AmmunitionTwentyfour Twentyfour head shipped from the Wood ¬ bine to Mount Royal including twelve of the W G Campbell string Jockey N Foden accompanied this stable stableThe The Frank Garrett stable composed of Gambling Tony and three twoyearolds ar ¬ rived Saturday from Maryland Jockey George Corey accompanied the stable and will do the riding With him were his wife and daughter Jean JeanMarshall Marshall Cassidy who will do the starting on Canadian Racing Association tracks this year is a recent arrival
