DEATH TAKES CARABINIER NEW YORK N Y June 4 Carabinier the sevenyearold imported son of Ex Voto and Carbine died at Belmont Park Friday Carabinier was one of the best steeplechasers in the country and he had just returned from AVoodbine where he won two stakes at that meeting He was the property of the Sewickley Stable ana the ace of that estab ¬ lishment which is managed and trained by Thomas H McCreery On his return from Toronto Mr McCreery said that it was in the last hour of the journey that Carabinier contracted a congestive chill Dr McCulIy was called and he did all that could possibly be done to no avail The horse was insured but not for anything like his real value
