LATEST ON POISON CASE Young Tells His Part in Alleged AllegedPlot Plot and How He Became BecameInvolved Involved in It AURORA 111 June S The latest devel ¬ opment in the poisoning case of two weeks ago came last night when Ulysses G Young of Charleston W Va was arraigned in a justices court on charges of conspiracy to commit a felony Young furnished 0000 bond and announced he had paid for all the horses made a statement of his part in the alleged plot and said he would appear as a states wintess before the grand jury juryYoung Young said he had paid 1000 to Joseph Keller of New Orleans owner of Elizabeth K and 3500 to E E Sterrett of Anthon la owner of Apology These two horses died To the owner of Sandrae J W Lewis of Kansas City he said he paid 53200 and to the Sanola Stock Farm of Chicago owner of Green Woods he said he paid 1000 1000He He was released on bonds and bound over to the grand jury after making a statement in which he said he mot Earl II Clark of Columbus sought as the instigator of the alleged plot in the Ohio city about three months ago AVith Clark and Charles Davis of Dayton O ho came to Aurora He said Clark Davis Frank Marion and Ernest Leaver came to him and told him of how he could bet on a sure thing and ex ¬ plained that they would give four of the horses a harmless drug that would affect their racing but would not injure them themHe He said that in their zealousness two doses of the poison were given to Apology and Elizabeth Iv which caused their death The stewards at Exposition Park compris ¬ ing Martin Nathanson M N Macfarlane and Charles Henry had previously taken action in the case ruling off the turf the follow ¬ ing ingEarl Earl II Clark Columbus O OMrs Mrs Rose Clark Columbus O OUlysses Ulysses G Young Charleston V Va VaCharles Charles Davi Dayton O OFrank Frank Buster Marion Springfield O OErnest Ernest Leaver Toronto Can
