Dick Welles Selections SelectionsAt At Aurora BITSY BEE POL ROGER BLACK DEER DEERThe The race put up by BITSY BEE last Fri ¬ day was a pood one and if she would run as kindly today think she could account for the opener a five and a half furlongs sprint She still carries the maiden mark after her name but we expect to see her graduate in this tilt The going apparently is no detri ¬ ment to her as she showed in that race POL ROGER was whispered around as a good thing in his start Friday but he failed to run to expectations The best he could do was to get the show That effort should have put him on edge for todays test and we are looking for him to becloser up here BLACK DEER showed signs of returning to some semblance of form in his last out and if he were to show any improvement over that effort think he may capture the short end of the purse purseBIDDY BIDDY SHIPP MAYOR BEHRMAN QUEEN OF SHEBA SHEBAConditions Conditions for the second race call for maiden twoyearolds to contest over the fiveeighths distance BIDDY SHIPP seems to be the best play here She has been racing in much improved form of late and is about ready to emerge from the non winners ranks The going holds no terrors for her and if given a good ride should win The bust MAYOR BEHRMAN is given the call for the place For some rea ¬ son or another this son of All Gold seems unable to win He has been close up in his recent races and threatened to win on more than one occasion but was never quite equal to the task He should be good enough to get the place without much trouble QUEEN OF SHEBA has shown a few good races here and if she does as well as her last try might be able to get the show showSETTEE SETTEE MELTINA MISS IDA BROWK BROWKThe The second race over the Exposition Course should prove a good spot for the M A Nash racer SETTEE He was declared out of his race on Saturday and this looks to be an easier race for him His best races are usually run in the mud and the going today should be all to his liking His most recent races have been on a fast strip and he failed to show much We expect to see him give a much better account of himself today in the muddy going MELVINA should also benefit by the going as she shows to best advantage when the track is anything but fast She has been showing some improvement of late and may be good enough to get the place here MISS IDA BROWN finally put up the kind of a race she is able to in her last appearance If that was no fluke look for her to be well up today todayROCKING ROCKING GENTRY DOUBLE T TThe The fourth brings out another limit sized field to contest over the Exposition Course distance and here wo favor ROCKING She was winner of her first race here in her last out after placing in her other two races If the going does not hinder too much she should be able to run her score to two in a row The danger in the race is the greatly Improved GENTRY It may be that the going was better suited to him Friday than in his other races for he put up a dandy performance to down Bitsy Bee and Miss Ida Brown DOUBLE T was the winner of his race on the same day as GENTRY and he was home an easy winner by a length and a half That was a good race for him and should he elect to run as well today will be among the money earners at the finish finishMONDAY MONDAY MORNING LEYOY MISS MISSROSEDALE ROSEDALE ROSEDALENo No feature race is down for decision today but the fifth number brings out the best performers of the day and a limit sized field is expected to go postward when the bugle calls MONDAY MORNING was en ¬ tered Saturday and at this writing the result is not known of what he did Irre gardless of how he fared in that race we like him to win this heat He has the speed of this bunch and he should get home the easiest winner of the day Track con ¬ ditions make no difference to him either LEVOY made his first appearance at this track in the same race with MONDAY MORNING and win or lose Saturday re ¬ mains our selection for the place here He is a mudder of the best type and the dis ¬ tance is to his liking MISS ROSEDALE has been most consistent in her races here and she needs but to run one of her regular races to grab off the small end of the money today todayTAN TAN PATRICK JOHN FINN MART BUNCH BUNCHWhat What seems to be a good play is seen in the sixth event at a mile and seventy yards This trick is VAN PATRICK from the barn of R Z Jenkins He raced in greatly improved form in nis last try which was in the mud and it may be that with the same conditions existing today he will prove the best of his outfit He used to be a real racer in years gone by and if he has returned to that form will be a hard one to beat We are picking JOHN FINN for the place on his mud running ability only He simply revels in it and this should be a nice spot for him to share in the purse money MART BUNCH has not found his racing legs since arriving here but she should benefit by the going also as his best races of late have been over a holding course courseDOROTHY DOROTHY ADAMS ARRAGOSA PANOREL PANORELThe The way we dope them for the final race on the card is DOROTHY ADAMS ARRA GOSA and PANOREL The former has run a few good races here although failing to win a purse Her last race was an im ¬ pressive one and if she were to show any improvement over that try would very likely prove the best here ARRAGOSA is bene fitted by the going and should be able to place if he runs his regular race He has been threatening of late and is about due to win a race PANOREL looked all over Ihe winner in last out coming down the stretch but could not withstand the rush of Shindy and as a result tell back to finish fourth At that he was only beaten a little over two lengths and he can be expected of showing much better today One Best Bet MONDAY MORNING in the Fifth Eace
