KEPT TIME and won easing up. SLEEPY TIME raced in closest pursuit of the winner and made a came challenge after entering the stretch, but was tiring at the end. OPT STEP wax bumped alx.ut at the start, but responded gamely when called on in the stretch and finished gamely. HHORTY was shuffled back shortly after the start and knocked back. IPPKU CKUST ran well throughout. WATCHOI.A was crowded back in the first sixteenth. JOHN J. S. unseated his rider on the way to tlie |H»st and ra i anav through the center field for three-eighths. NEALON KAY worked his way up on the outside and came with a rush through the last quarter. ;IANT. close up from the start, was crowded on the stretch turn and was racing well at the end. THE CODE was much used in forcing the early pace and tired in the a retch. FOBKHEAB was shuffled Iwck after the start, but closed a big gap and finished gamely. COPKY BOY ran well.
