MANY HORSES FOR OMAHA Over 100 Head From Salt Lake LakeCity City Now on Grounds Owners Ownersto to Ship From Aurora OMAHA Neb May 18 A special train carrying over one hundred horses and in eluding the best of the thoroughbreds that raced at the recent meeting at Salt Lake City arrived from the Utah capital yesterday and were immediately allotted stalls in which they will be housed to await the opening of the meeting at AkSarBen Field which commences on June 1 1C C B Irwin the Wyoming horseman brought his entire string which numbers over twenty and others that came along were Mike Syufy with the fast twoyearold Proctor Hug also Hoatzin Sylvanus Frank Light Charlie Murray Aurania Pangold Araby Amen Billy Mann Coffield and Shafe Geo Drumheller with Pat Bonnie Omar The Franciscan Chance Skootin and eight others J E Gibson with Sapodilla Lady Leonid Jay Mac Muriel Hi Trade Wind and Portola B E Buchanan with six M Shores with twelve and the smaller stables of C W Officer H Roberts R Dority W D Tait R Marmot A M Gray R McCrosson C R Riley D Howell H Weber T Martin A Holle C Sawyer H C Porter and others othersOver Over three hundred horses are already quartered at the course and a special train carrying about two hundred head will leave Aurora next week Some of the prominent owners whose horses are now performing at the Fox River Valley course ami who have applied to manager John Carey for stalls are B A Jones R L Baker O L Foster B Creech W J Potter H C Mc Connell and a score of others
