stream of horses reaching the course and unlike former years there is an abundance of quality in the large aggregation of racers that will take part Some of the most pretentious racing stables will have repre ¬ sentation at the coming meeting and it is patent that Fairmount Park will at last come into its own ownThe The many improvement that have been instituted since the close last fall have jadded materially to the general aspect of the already spacious and commodious plant and brought it to a standard to compare with the best in the country The racing strip proper excells any other track in the country and horsemen enthuse over its perfection Its cushion and springi ¬ ness prevents breakdowns and serves as an aid to those with suspicious underpinnings Horses have more confidence
