GREENTREE STABLE NAME NEW YORK N Y May 26 The death of Payne Whitney will bring no change in the campaign of his horses and those of Mrs Payne Whitney that were raced under the name of the Greentree Stable Joseph E Widener was in conference with the widow yesterday and she asserted that her husband had said but a few days before his death that he did not like the idea of a stable so bereaved taking another name for the term of mourning He said that in the event anything happened to him he wanted the stable to continue under its own name In reaching this decision Mrs Whitney is merely carrying out the wishes of the lamented sportsman
