McGEE AT PARTING OF WAYS WAYSSPECIAL SPECIAL CABLEGRAM PARIS France May 31 It was indicated here today that Baron E De Rothschild and his contract jockey M McGee are at odds and probably have reached a parting of the ways The rupture was noted when orders were given trainer W Barker to ride McGee only at Longchajiips No reason was given for limiting the jockeys mounts but rumors persist that there is friction between Barker and McGee It was reported last autumn that the contract between Rothschild and McGee would not be renewed for 1927 Over ¬ tures were made to McGee to sign with the Joseph E Widener stable providing he did not renew his engagement with the French owner Later McGfa Kilned with Rothschild
