DERBY ELIGIBLES ARRIVE LOUISVILLE, Ky„ April 2.— Among the horses that J. B. Partridge recently brought here from New Orleans was Doctor Fred, a bay gelding by Pandion — Betty Hanes, which is eligible to the Kentucky Derby. This colt scored in two races at the Fair Crounds, but is not thought to be of Derby caliber. However, he will be gotten ready for the race in case Mr. Partridge should decide to start him. Hush Dear is another Derby eligible to arrive recently from New Orleans. The filly is one of the twelve entered in the classic by H. P. Whitney, but is in the stable that is being handled by Mose Goldblatt. She is a daughter of Pennant and Baksheesh, and is ; also eligible to the Kentucky Oak;*.
