TYPHOON S GOOD TRIAL BOWIE, Md., April 4.— Typhoon, the colt that Guy Bedwcll is training for Messrs. Payne and West, showed startling speed in a trial this morning. He worked three-quarters in 1:14%, the fractions being :23, :35, :48, 1 :00%. Typhoon is being pointed for the Kentucky Derby. He wintered at edwells Yarrow Brae Farm, near Laurel, Md.
