BILLY WELCH took the lead after rounding the far turn and drew away in the stretch to win easing up. IMA FOX was close up throughout, came resolutely through the stretch and outfinished BARBERRY. The latter showed early speed, but tired. JOF ran well and had no mishaps. VALIANT unseated his rider while at the post, but was recaptured before doing any damage. BONNIE LIZZIE raced on the outside of IS ZAT SO from the start and, proving gamest through the stretch drive, won going away. IS ZAT SO had no mishaps and raced well, but tired in the final drive. CORENNE worked her way up on the outside In the last quarter and finished with a rash through the stretch. SPORTING LIFE, shuffled back early, finished gamely on the inside. ST. AUGUS- TIKB raced in close quarters much of the way and came fast in the stretch. LE MARIAUB and , PMLION tired after showing early speed. PENNY RILE had no mishaps and was tiring at the end. WHITEFOOT was crowded back when going " to the first turn, but came fast when clear in the stretch.
