I LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES # — ■ — — — %, LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 17. Stuyvesant Peabodys extensive racing stable will be shipped to Arlington Park at the conclusion of the Churchill Downs meeting. Robert S. Eddy, Jr., general manager of the Jefferson Park track, was an arrival to witness the Derby. Others in the extensive New Orleans delegation included James De-Morelle, Charles Bachrach, Charles Brennan and others. C. Bruce, general manager : Lyman T. Hay, president, and C. Bruce Campbell, general counsel of Fairmount Park, were among the comers from St. Louis to remain until after the running of the Derby. Edward B. McLean was an arrival with a large party of guests. They will remain for an indefinite period. J. S. Middleton, trainer of the Frederick Johnson horses, and jockey V. Peterson, who will ride Mr. Johnsons Replevin in the Derby, were arrivals from New York. R. A. Smith, trainer of the Salubria Stables Strolling Player, and J. H. Stotler, in charge of the Sagamore Stable horses, were other easterners here today. Stotler will saddle Don Q. for the Derby. Trainer Robert McGarvey announced that one of the western riders will be entrusted to guide Stuyvesant Peabodys Martie Flynn in the Derby. C. T. Fisher, prominent resident of Detroit and part owner of the Bloomfield Stable, is an arrival to remain for the running of the Derby. Jockey H. Richards reported sick and was granted permission to cancel his mounts this afternoon. Horsemen were advised today that scratch time for Derby Day would be 7 a. m. Post time on Derby Day for the first race will be 1 :45 p. m. » _
