STEWARDS ISSUE RULING AURORA, 111., May 17.— The following notice was posted in the secretarys office today. "The plating of a horse with an odd shoe, such as turning or rolling a toe or shaping a shoe in any manner to impede the free action of a horse in a race, will be considered a major offense. Platers and trainers so offending will be ruled off. "•Signed THE STEWARDS."
