DENNY was in close quarters, but got through on the inside after entering the stretch and finished fast und gamely. EXPRESSIVE showed the mest early speed and set the pace for the first half mile before tiring. LOYAL II. raced forwardly. saving ground on the turns and ran a good race. I.FVOY saved ground by racing on the inside and ran a good race, but was tiring from near the end. VOLT could never improve his position and tired DUFFS TIME tired also. BI.lBFISH was allowed to race far back to the far turn, then was seriously bumped and interfered with by ARABIAN and BBRO, but. getting through on the inside in the stretch, finished fast and gamely and got up to nose out ARABIAN in the final stride. ARABIAN, when released from restraint, came with a rush in the final eighth and was in front a yard away, but lost in the last stride. TWELVE SIXTY held a long lead until in the last eighth, then tired and was outfinished in a hard drive. JEB ran well to the stretch before beginning to tire. INDRA was done when reaching the final eighth. HERO was eased up and beaten off after quitting. Scratched— 24557 Pathan. 113. The latter raced well in the going and set a good pace to near the last eighth, but could not withstand the rush of MARY-DALE. PAULA SHAY raced forwardly and saved ground on the turns, then came to the outside in the stretch and finished gamely. TRY AGAIN closed a gap.
