Won easily; second and third driving. . GRIEBDILDA raced well in the going, followed GALLOPING DAWN closely under restraint to the stretch, then took the lead and easily held EDDIE CURTIS safe. EDDIE CURTIS, outrun early, moved up with a rush in the stretch and took second place easily. BETTY SMITH saved ground by racing on tin- inside throughout and closed a gap. GALLOPING DAWN showed the most apeed for the first three- j quarters, but tired finally. PAIGE was done in the stretch. CLEO quit. SPORTING BLUM was on the outside all tlic way but showed speed and raced gamely to the end. UNCOMMON GOLD had no mishaps.
