j ARLINGTON PARK NOTES ? i Eddie Graney. well-known California sportsman and identified with several racing courses, was among the visitors and will remain until the running of the American Derby. J. McGee brought Sunsard, Faddy, Fairy-man. Friar Mint and Poor Boy from Louis-ville. Ky. Jockey W. Curran came with the stable. F. A. Stevens was in charge of Lawley and Tirza, other members of the Viking Stable having been shipped to Eatonia. A dozen horses trained by R. McGarvey for Stuyvesant Peabody also came from Ch urchill Downs. Arrivals Sunday were the bands of J. J. Coughlin. sixteen horses : W. F. Poison, ten ; Fi. K. Mooar, nine ; E. L. Fitzgerald, eleven, and J. D. Grant, two. Typhoon. Torrent, Brainstorm and Hailstorm, owned by the Kenton Farm Stable and in the division of II. G. Bedwells stable at Fairmount Park, will be transferred here. Typhoon is an eligible for the American Derby. The Seagram Stables Solace, which was vanned to Fairmount Park for the Derby, leached here Sunday afternoon after an all-night trip. He stood the hard trip well, but his race i « • the Fairmount Derby was a disappointment to trainer V. U. Biingloe. Phil Renter, owner of Galahad, which finished fourth in the Fairmount Derby after being almost left at the post, is expected here Friday morning with the Collinsville track and is a certain starter in the American Derby.
