FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES ! * ___ C. Houbre advised the Fairmotmt Park management today that he is shipping his two-year-olds Coal Black and Trompe of Dawn from Arlington Park. The first named is an eligible In the ,000 Valley Stakes, to be run next Saturday, and Trompe of Dawn has been named in the Illinois Stakes, to be run as the feature of the Fairmount Park card of Saturday, June 23. The veteran trainer Jack Phillips saddled his first winner of the meeting in Dar-Fur, the good looking gelding that was first past the post in the second race. Phillips is an old timer in the racing game and raced a stable of horses with considerable success in the days of the old St. Louis Fair Grounds. A—
