■ • ■ FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES 1 » € COLLINSVILLE, 111., June 19. C. Irby added to his stable by purchasing Becky Sue from J. Phillips at private sale. Before leaving here for Windsor, A. G. Robertson sold the three-year-old Lily Sue of William Maher to W. J. Whalen. Phil Reuter stated that, providing Galahad comes out of his Latonia Derby engagement in good shape, Galahad, Gotham and Capt. George Foster will be left at Latonia with Tom Sanford until the conclusion of that meeting on July 7, when they will be shipped to Lincoln Fields, to be joined there by the remainder of the Reuter stable, now quartered at Fairmount. Phil Reuter expects to take a long vacation during the summer with Mrs. Reuter at Atlantic City, Mr. Reuter feeling the need of a good rest following a long session of overwork in connection with training his large stable of thoroughbreds. During the Lincoln Fields meeting, while he is resting up at Atlantic City. Mr. Reuter expects that Tom Sanford will be engaged by him to do the training of his horses on the Chicago tracks. Jockey E. Shropshire left Fairmount Park to visit his home in Lexington, Ky., but will report to trainer Tom Sanford at Lincoln Fields. A.
