DORVAL DERBY JULY 20 MONTREAL Que May 4 Dorvals 6000 Derby will be decided this year on July 20 the closing Saturday of the inaugural meet ¬ ing at the Lakeshore track according to a decision reached today at the annual meet ¬ ing of the Dorval club clubOfficers Officers were elected and plans made fur ¬ ther for the running in 1931 of a Breeders Stake at Dorval for which Quebecowned horses will be eligible and for which the track will offer a purse which may reach 10 000 There are over twenty thoroughbreds mostly bred at the Vercheres Farm which are eligible for this race raceAlfred Alfred Richard was reelected president of the Dorval Club with Senator Donat Ray ¬ mond as vicepresident Joseph Cattaranich is general manager Louis Letourneau is as ¬ sistant and Leo Dandurand secretary and treasurer
