VAGABOND outbroke the others and, saving ground all the way, held on in game fashion to withstand the closing challenge of EASTER SETH. The latter lost ground by coming wide around the ! stretch turn, but made a determined bid in tiie last sixteenth and just failed to get up. WINDY ROSS was outpaced early and closed gamely. THRACE was prominent throughout, but could not head the winner and was tiring at the finish. WILDRAKE had no excuses. DRY MOON was racing gamely at the end. CECELIA GROB was far back all the way. PRINCESS BANK tired badly after the first quarter. AZOV tired badly. WOUTIIMAN was never dangerous. MERRY CHASE and BABBLING dwelt at the start and were practically left.
