ACCIDENT AT KANSAS CITY KANSAS CITY Mo., June 5.— A serious accident was narrowly averted during the running of the fifth race at Riverside Park Tuesday when Rodrigo, running in the colors of Mrs. W. J. Potter, broke down, throwing jockey C. Eames, who was rushed to the hospital, where he was found to be suffering from a broken collarbone. The horse broke its leg and had to be destroyed.
