BEACON HILL followed the early pace under steady restraint, moved into the lead when called upon and drew away, winning in hand. MI VIDA showed a good race under the weight, shook off COIN COLLECTOR and came again at the end. LIVE OAK improved his position steadily and finished resolutely. COIN COLLECTOR raced well and had no excuses. JEAN VALJEAN was outrun. CHICATIB dwelt at the start and was away slowly. SWEET VERBENA followed the early pace under restraint, moved up steadily when entering tha stretch and responded to urging in the final eighth and wore down AQlASTEI.LA at the end. The latter was rated along in front, saved ground all the way and finished well. GOLDEN ANGER, close up throughout, made a determined effort when called upon and finished with good courage. SAFETY PIN raced in closest pursuit of the leaders from the start, but tired after making a determined effort when entering the stretch. STAR FLYER ran a good race throughout. ELECTA, close up for the first quarter, quit badly. LISA gained some ground. MINT FRIARY dropped back after the start. ATLANTIS had no excuses. COQUETRY was eased up when she quit.
