RIDERS GRANTED LICENSES AURORA, 111., May 1. Forty-four riders were granted licenses and reported at the jockeys room today. Apprentice jockeys are in the majority and the youngsters are a likely looking band. The lads laying claim to the five-pound allowance are : P. Keiser, J. Marcum, J. Mulrooney, G. Kidd, A. Col-vin, W. Moran, S. Wood, J. Boucher, E. McLaughlin, C. Stranski. T. C. Smith, W. Carroll, V. Carcon, L. Logan, O. Neal, E. Level, B. Bentley, A. Cliff, J. W. Frye, C. Cotton, R. Rose, O. Cooper, H. Ross and M. Dupuy. Among the more experienced saddle artists are : J. Redding, G. Pf lanz, J. Bollero, T. Romano, J. Gianelloni, E. T. Moore, R. Ayraud, H. Jones, A. Richards, W. Dellow.
